Lotte Juniors aktuell

Die Jugendabteilung der Sportfreunde Lotte, die Lotte Juniors, begeben sich in die Winterpause. Eine sehr erfolgreiche Hinserie haben die Mannschaften hingelegt. Von der A- bis zur C Jugend werden nur Top 5-Plätze in der Kreisliga A belegt. Ein Aufwärtstrend, der unverkennbar ist.
Allein die A-Jugend, die im letzten Jahr fast den Aufstieg in die Bezirksliga geschafft hat, steht mit Platz 4 im Moment etwas hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Bei dem großen Potenzial ist eigentlich mehr drin, weiß auch Fritz Puhle, Trainer der Jungs.
Bei der Wasserschlacht der B-Jugend gegen die Arminia aus Ibbenbüren unterlag man nur denkbar knapp mit 1:2.
Die B2-Jugend, die von Hannes Hehemann trainiert wird, belegt einen guten 3. Platz und qualifiziert sich damit für die Aufstiegsrunde für die KLA. Lottes C1-Jugend rangiert z.Z. auf Platz 2 der KLA-Tabelle und die C2 belegt Platz 3 der aktuellen Tabelle der Kreisliga C.
Aber auch die Sponsoren engagieren sich mehr bei der Lotter Jugend, wohl wissend, dass die Lotte Juniors als Regionalliganachwuchs der Sportfreunde immer erfolgreicher spielen und somit auch häufiger im Fokus des öffentlichen Interesses stehen werden. Das verpflichtet natürlich auch zu vorbildlichem Verhalten, wie die A-Jugendlichen bei ihrem Auftritt in Mettingen bewiesen.
Nun geht es in die verdiente Winterpause, um Ende Februar wieder mit neuem Elan in der Rückrunde/Aufstiegsrunde noch mal richtig anzugreifen. Die Lotte Juniors sind auf einem guten Weg.
Am 18.12.2009 trifft man sich dann noch einmal zum Jahresabschluß in der PGW-Arena zum letzten Spiel der Regionalliga-Mannschaft, wenn es um 19.00 Uhr heißt: Sportfreunde Lotte vs. Mainz 05 II. Unter dem Motto “Wir brauchen dich”, wollen die Sportfreunde die gesamte Region mobilisieren, an diesem letzten Fußball-Highlight des Jahres teilzunehmen. Sollten die Walpurgis-Schützlinge dann noch gewinnen, kann man mit Recht von einer gelungenen Halbzeitbilanz der gesamten Fußballabteilung sprechen.
Selbst in der VFL-Hochburg Osnabrück sind die Sportfreunde präsent, so wie hier am Hauptbahnhof, wo ein riesiges Werbeplakat am Advena Hotel Hohenzollern strahlt und auf die Begegnung mit Mainz 05 hinweist.
